Remote Engine Starter: How Does it Work?

Honda’s remote engine starter is a unique key fob which has the ability to start your vehicle’s engine from afar! This feature is included with certain Honda trim levels, or it can be purchased as an accessory. The remote engine starter has a range of around 120 meters. It has the power to start your vehicle’s engine, and control its climate. If it is warmer than 7.5 degrees Celsius, the remote engine starter will automatically turn on the air conditioning when the engine is started. If the temperature is lower than 7.5 degrees Celsius, it will turn on the windshield and mirror defrosters when the engine is started.  If your remote engine starter comes with a display screen, it can be used to show your vehicle’s interior temperature!
