The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety named the 2016 Accord a “Top Safety Pick+”. This means that the Accord received a perfect score of “Good” in all five crash test categories. It also received a “Superior” grade for its front crash prevention. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration also performed crash tests on the 2016 Accord, and it passed with flying colours! The Accord received an overall crash test score of 5 out of 5 stars!
The Car Connection gave the 2016 Accord an overall score of 8.6 out of 10. Specifically, it received a score of 9 out of 10 in the “Features”, “Comfort and Quality”, and “Safety” sub categories.
