 Q: Does Dow Honda have any discounts for seniors?

A: Yes! Our Parts and Service departments offer a 10% discount on parts and labour, respectively for anyone over 65 years of age.


Q: What are Dow Honda’s company policies for accessibility for people with disabilities

Q: I heard that the Takata airbag recall was expanded! Is my vehicle effected?

A: Yes, the Takata airbag recall has been expanded. For more information, and a list of effected Honda vehicles, click here. To use Honda Canada’s Recall Lookup feature, click here to search for recalls using your VIN.


Q: Where are the destinations of Dow Honda’s shuttle service?

A: Dow Honda’s shuttle runs Monday to Friday, leaving for downtown at 7:30am, and at 8:45 for downtown and the surrounding area. If there is a specific location that you would like to be dropped off to, please call us at 613-237-2777 and ask to speak to one of our shuttle drivers!

If you are looking to be picked up by the shuttle at the end of the day, it arrives at 4:00pm at Kent and Laurier, and it can arrange to pick up at other locations around Ottawa before 3:00pm.

Q: Have Dow Honda’s hours of operation changed?

A: The Sales departments hours of operation are Mondays to Thursdays 9am to 7pm, Fridays 9am to 5pm, and Saturdays 9am to 4pm. The Service and Parts department’s hours of operation are Mondays to Fridays 7:30am to 5:30pm and Saturdays 9am to 4pm.


Q: Is Dow Honda’s new location open for business?

A: Yes! Dow Honda’s new dealership is open for business! Our new location is now at the corner of Colonnade and Merivale Roads.


Q: I heard that Dow Honda is accepting job applications. Is that true? How do I apply?

Q: How can I pay for my vehicle upon delivery?

A: We do not accept personal cheques for any amount over $500.00. A certified cheque would be perfect!


Q: What is the balance of my financed/leased vehicle?

A: To check the balance on your financed/leased vehicle, please contact the financial institution that was used when the vehicle was financed or leased. If you leased your vehicle with Honda Canada Finance, please contact them at 1-800-387-5399.


Q: How do I make a service appointment?

A: You can make a service appointment in two ways. You can call us at 613-237-2777 and speak to a Service Advisor, or you can book one online by clicking here.


Q: Can I book an oil change/tire swap appointment for Saturday?

A: On Saturdays, the Service Department takes customers by appointments only. From basic basic services like oil-changes and tire swaps to more advanced mechanical work such as B Service and brake issues. 


Q: What do I do if I am picking up my vehicle after a service appointment, but the service department is closed?

A: If the Sales Department is still open, then you may retrieve your keys from the receptionist at the front desk. 


Q: Do you have a body shop on site?

A: For body work, we direct customers to our Star Motors location at 40 Jamie Ave, Ottawa.


Q: Does my vehicle have an outstanding recall?

A: To check your vehicle for outstanding recalls, go to our Parts Department page, or click here.


Q: What do I do if I forgot my radio code?

A: If you forget your radio code, contact our service department at 613-237-2777 and one of our Service Advisor will advise you how to retrieve it.
