Showroom Showoff: 2018 Civic Type R

For a Honda that goes above and beyond, there is nothing better than the 2018 Civic Type R. This hot hatchback is available without a wait-list, and is on display in our Showroom. It comes in Championship White and has a red and black suede-effect fabric interior. It is powered by a 2.0L, 16 valve, VTEC, turbocharged, 4-cylinder engine with a 6-speed manual transmission with rev-match control.

The 2018 Civic Type R’s signature style is achieved with the help of 20 inch aluminum-alloy wheels in Piano Black with red styling, red Honda “H” badges, and a skirt package with carbon fibre finish and a red styling line. It is also outfitted with Sport performance tires, a triple exhaust with chrome finisher, and a rear wing spoiler. The interior is embellished with textured aluminum pedals, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, and the Type R logo embroidered on the seats.

The Type R has an excellent collection of Honda safety and entertainment tech! It includes the HondaLink Automatic Emergency Response System, LaneWatch Blind Spot Display, a multi-angle rearview camera, proximity key entry, and pushbutton start. The 12 speaker audio system is compatible with HondaLink, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, Sirius XM, and Bluetooth Streaming Audio. The Type R’s console will stay neat and tidy with wireless charging ,so you won’t be distracted while being guided by the Honda Satellite-Linked Navigation System.
