Power Tailgate: Open with a Button or Hands Free!

Select trim levels across the Honda lineup come equipped with the convenience of a power tailgate. The tailgate opens automatically with the push of a button, or with a hands free method!

Opening with a Button:

To open the power tailgate, press the “Tailgate” button on your vehicle’s dashboard, or on the smart entry remote. The tailgate will open. To close it, press the “Tailgate” button on the inside of the tailgate door, or on the smart entry remote.

Hands Free:

First, make sure that the smart entry remote is with you. Then, kick your foot back and forth underneath the middle of the bumper. The tailgate will open. To close it, press the “Tailgate” button on the inside of the tailgate door, or on the smart entry remote.
